Owner Brad Amussen is considered a concrete expert with 35 years of experience in the concrete industry. Since its inception in 1995, BLT has been providing quality concrete in West Central Nevada. Originally, Brad owned a ready mix plant in Hawthorne, Nevada and used conventional drum mixers to deliver concrete. However, in 2004, he recognized the niche needed to be filled in the Fernley area and ventured into the field of volumetric mixers. Starting with one mobile mix unit, his fleet has grown to five mobile mix and one drum mixer concrete trucks.

Working with concrete in the dry environment of the high desert takes the experience of someone with Brad's knowledge. Temperatures can range from freezing snow in the winters to hot, arid summers. Knowledge of the correct mix design during different times of the year allows the pouring of concrete in almost any weather. Brad and his crew bring this experience to every pour they deliver.  The equipment is new, well maintained and the ingredients are the finest quality.
